Kayla is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student intern dedicated to providing a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. She believes that every person has unique strengths and resilience, and strives to work collaboratively with clients as they navigate life's challenges and work toward meaningful change.

Kayla uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach grounded in empathy, respect, and curiosity. She values building authentic therapeutic relationships and recognizes the importance of honoring each client's individual experiences, identities, and goals. Whether you are coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, trauma, or simply looking for support and personal growth, Kayla is committed to meeting you where you are.

Kayla has a background working with adolescents and their families, so she understands the complex ways that relationships, life experiences, and environments shape emotional well-being. Her therapeutic practice is informed by family systems theory, recognizing that individuals are deeply influenced by the relationships and systems in which they live. She works collaboratively with clients to explore these dynamics, strengthen communication, build on existing strengths, and foster healthy, lasting change.

As an MSW intern, Kayla is supervised by experienced licensed clinicians and remains committed to ongoing learning and professional development. She feels grateful to have the privilege of walking alongside clients as they explore their strengths, develop new coping strategies, and move toward sustained change.
