Doxy Link

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience providing thoughtful, compassionate, and person-centered care to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins within a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I prioritize building genuine therapeutic rapport, creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe, deeply understood, and supported without judgment. My approach is affirming and inclusive, honoring each individual’s lived experience and emotional world. I work collaboratively with clients, moving at a pace that feels respectful and empowering, while helping them reconnect with their strengths and inner resilience. I have extensive experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Therapy with me is tailored to the unique needs of each client and integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based interventions, and Affirmative CBT. Our work together may focus on processing difficult experiences, regulating emotions, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, improving relationships, and cultivating self-compassion and emotional clarity. I provide in-person therapy at Penfield Psychiatry, offering a warm and grounding environment where clients can explore their feelings, gain insight, and build practical tools for healing and growth. My goal is to help clients feel supported not only clinically, but emotionally — leaving therapy with a stronger sense of connection, confidence, and hope.
